Color and Style Restrictions: Students must wear solid white or red shirts and blouses with collars and no embellishments. Only the Bostic logo is allowed on tops, including sweatshirts, which must be solid white, navy blue, or red. Sweaters, sweater vests, and cardigans must also be solid red, white, or navy blue, with no patterns, emblems, or labels. Turtlenecks may only be worn under sweatshirts or jumpers and not alone or under short-sleeved shirts. Bottoms must be solid navy blue and tailored—not too tight or baggy—and worn at the waist. Jeans, sweats, corduroys, leggings, capris, cargo pants, and similar items are not allowed. Leggings may not be worn under skirts or jumpers.
Fit and Length Requirements: Clothing must be appropriately sized to fit the student. Skirts, skorts, and shorts must fall midway between the knee and hip. Belts should not detract from the learning environment. All clothing must be neat and worn properly to maintain a respectful and distraction-free appearance.
Layering and Outerwear: Sweatshirts and sweaters must be worn over a collared shirt and must follow the approved solid color guidelines. No hoods or hoodies are allowed on any outerwear. Turtlenecks are permitted only as underlayers beneath sweatshirts or jumpers.
Footwear and Accessories: Shoes must have a backing over the heel, and kindergarten students may not wear shoes or boots that tie. Tennis shoes or flats are recommended, and flip-flops are not allowed for safety reasons. Socks must be solid white, red, black, or navy blue with no logos or branding visible above the shoe. Tights must also be solid white, red, or navy blue and may not be footless or resemble leggings. Hair accessories must not distract from the learning environment—items like cat ears or unicorn horns are not permitted. Tattoos, including temporary ones, and makeup are not allowed.
School Spirit and Exceptions: Spirit shirts may be worn with uniform bottoms on the last Friday of each month. Scout uniforms are allowed on scout meeting days.
