Magnet Theme

Our Traditional Magnet theme offers a back-to-basics focus on reading, writing and arithmetic. The common mission is to prepare students for success in a safe, disciplined, supportive and challenging environment. We maintain high academic and behavioral expectations in a very structured learning environment. 

All students must apply and be selected through the random lottery process.

• Emphasize rigorous academic and behavior expectations
• Foster ethical, responsible, and caring students
• Build strong family/school partnerships

Points of Pride

• Citizenship, patriotism, and heritage are stressed.
• Parents are expected to support their child in a partnership
with the school. They are asked to sign a contract detailing
this support.
• Discipline is stressed, self-discipline is preferred. Good
conduct is expected.
• Academic expectations and grading standards are high.
